Pulled Pork

In a crockpot....

add the pork. Should be cut for carnitas, basically chunks of meat, no bones. Add chicken broth, not water. You can use chicken stock or make some. I recommend using caldo de pollo instead of bullion cubes. It tastes good and it is in powder form so it makes very quickley. Add enough to almost cover the meat. Add onion (however much you want, usually a whole onion is good enough for flavor. But put more if you like more), garlic (about 1/2 clove, really it depends on how much someone likes. You can usually go by smell. If you want you can cut slits in the meat and poke the garlic in there). Add some salt and pepper, peppercorns if you have them. Add cumin. Just sprinkle it on. You can also add some fresh cilantro if you want but is isn't a necessity.

cook in the crockpot until it is falling apart, usually about 3 hours.

serve with warm corn tortillas

you can also save the leftover meat for tamales.
